If you feel like you want more review on a particular topic, then go ahead and listen to the simulation videos, but for the most part, especially for AUD, it’s not a productive use of time. The retention is a lot more effective when you’re answering questions about something you learned yesterday instead of something you learned 5 minutes agoĪlso, for purposes of AUD, the simulations are not necessary until the very end when you’re reviewing everything and a particular topic is still bothering you. I also recommend spending one day watching several lectures (you can easily knock out all of the A1 lectures in one day), and then spend the next day doing MCQs from those sections. The bulk of your learning and retention will come from MCQs. So what I usually do is just listen along to the lecture and then I head straight to the MCQs.
I used to take notes during lectures until I realized that I never refer back to my notes, ever. It takes some time to get into your rhythm.
